Christmas Day 2010

Christmaas morning, we started off the day by spoiling Ada at our house. We wanted her to have a lot of practice unwrapping, so we got her alot of little stocking stuffers. We may have overdone it, because the poor girl had to keep taking "reading" breaks. After the gifts at our house had all been opened, we went on to Ada's Great Grandma and Grandpa Rose's house for some breakfast. After eating way too much food, we ventured over to my parents house for some more gifts. We ALL got way too spoiled there! Then, it was time for naps. We went on our way over to her Nana and Pop Pop's house, and waited out her nap in the car. After a delicious prime rib dinner and some MORE gifts, we were finally able to sit back, and Ada got to test out some of her new toys. We had such a fun time going from house to house and getting to see family, and we ended our day not too worn out! Happy Holidays!

Christmas Morning Video

Every morning, when we would turn on the Christmas tree lights, Ada was stand there in amazement, with plenty of "oohs" and "awwws". Christmas morning, when we finially attempt to catch her reaction on video, we get nothing. Classic Ada.

Christmas Eve 2010

I just realized (reminded by my husband) that I never posted Christmas photos! So here they are: Christmas Eve started off nice and relaxing with cinnamon rolls and alot of play time at home. Later in the afternoon, we met Matt's parents for a Christmas Eve church service at Salem Alliance. It was a great service and kept Ada entertained with cute clips from their Children's ministry and plenty of singing. After church, we stopped by her Great Grandmother and Grandad's house for some visiting. We finished off the evening at my Aunt and Uncles house for dinner and a gift card exchange. They have a dog, so Ada was occupied with her for most of the night ;) Then it was back home and off to bed for the little one!

Happy New Year!

Well, this was our wild and crazy New Year's Eve! Yahtzee, Rootbeer floats and hot tub! Ada had a sleep-over party in her Aunties room, while her mama and daddy went home and to bed just shy of midnight. Matt claims he was awake at midnight, but I have a feeling we were both snoozing in the New Year! Very excited to see what 2011 has in store for us!

Yeah this was a bit of a suprise when I came around the corner. But what can I say? The girl loves her kitty!

Hoodoo

This was a beautiful day at Hoodoo! It had been 3 years since Matt and I had rode down the mountain together and we had a blast! I am very picky about my snow conditions on the mountain, and I could not have been happier. Ada stayed back with her Grandma while her mom and dad tried (and not really succeeded) to show of for eachother. Great day!
