First half of First year

Yay! After all these months of drooling and ravenous knawing, Ada's first tooth has popped through! It's not much to look at yet, but we know it's there, and I feel like it's a small victory for her! Now she only has the rest of her teeth to get in!

This past week, Matt was on a business trip to Vegas, and I told him that Ada would be crawling by the time he came back home; She started crawling the day he left! She doesn't have the best technique, but she gets to where she wants to go... and fast! It is so fun watching her figure things out. We are so proud of her and how much she has learned in these first six months!

Our next challenges ahead are getting her to eat something other than rice cereal, and getting her to enjoy being left with friends and family. With hopefully just a FEW breakdowns on both mama and baby's end, we will get there! Thank you everyone for all the love and attention you have shown her so far. We are so thankful that she get to grow up around such loving and patient family and friends!

She Sits!

One day she couldn't sit on her own, and the next day she could! So cute to watch her sit and play!

Ada's Dedication

Ada was dedicated at Salem Evangelical Church this last Sunday, by Pastor Randy Butler. She did such a good job, smiling at the congregation and being mesmorized by the lights. We are so proud of our sweet little girl. She is just growing up so fast. After service, we went out for a celebratory lunch. In company were Ada's Nana and PopPop, Grandma and Grandpa, Auntie Al, Auntie Michelle and Uncle Scott, Her Great Aunt Kari, Great Uncle Ken, Great Grandmother and Granddad, and her Great Grandma and Grandpa. I think she made it about half way around the table before she broke down from seeing too many faces. She loves them all... just in moderation ;) Congratulations Ada Jean! You have a fun road ahead of you with your new buddy, Jesus!
