Round 2

We thought we would try it one more time with Santa. She was excited to see him while we were waiting in line. She was even excited to be up close when he gave her a candy cane. Santa asked her if she wanted a baby doll for Christmas, and she felt like this guy might be alright. As Matt was gently placing her on his lap, she lost it! She was able to get out one sobbing "Thank you" as Matt carted her out of there, and then she was instantly better. I love that girl

The Cute Couple

Ada and Kellen have really grown close over these past few months. Sure, they have they moments of jeaousy (shoving) and greed (a little more shoving), but they are always happy to see eachother in the mornings. It is the sweetest thing to see them trying to make eachother laugh. They have these cute little smiles they give one another, and when another kid comes into the mix, they get protective of eachother. What little sweeties! Maybe we'll be showing these pics at their wedding some day ;)

Nice to meet you, Santa

We went to the State Capitol building this week to see the tree lighting and meet Santa. Mrs. Claus was a bonus! We had to wait in a long line (the photos were free) and Ada was able to make some new friends while waiting. She was having a great time eating her cookie, playing with friends, and WATCHING Santa and Mrs. Claus. The moment Santa reached out to hand her a candy cane, she lost it! Big surprise! So we took a quick photo, said our goodbyes and thank yous and she calmed down. The evening made for a classic "crying baby" photo. Better luck next year!

Tree Hunt

Ada had a great time picking out our tree this wear! She stomped through the mud, fought off tree limbs and helped us find a great little tree.

Snow Day

This weekend, we headed up and over towards Mt. Hood. We stopped in at Huckleberry Inn for some lunch, and then took advantage of some great photo opts! Ada was a little unsure of the snow, mostly because of all the bulky clothes she had to wear, but all in all, it was a great day!

A Good Attempt

Well, we attempted to take some family photos at Washington Park, but some of us (all of us) weren't really in the photo mood. So, here is what we could come up with, and we will try again another day!

Zoo Day

We had a beautiful day at the zoo this week, and all the animals were front and center! Ada was loving it and she got to practice all of her animal sounds. She makes these outings so much more fun!
