Our Monkey

Okay, so we might need to think about some sort of gymnastics class for this girl. She is always amazing me. I knew she was brave enough to TRY climbing up the play equipment by herself, but I didn't think she would be able to make it the whole way. I should have known! After a few times of this, I finally got a video :)

Slide Race!

Park Morning

We had a great time at the park this morning. It was sunny out and starting to get warm, and we had it all to ourselves! We did plenty of swinging around and slide races!

Ada and Pina

Thank goodness Pina is such a laid back cat, because Ada sure tests her patience! In the last couple weeks, Ada figured out how to carry Pina around, and since then, poor Pina hasn't had much of a break. BUT in some strange way, I think Pina enjoys it. Anything for extra attention!

Baumen's Animals

I don't know why it took us so long to figure this out, but Baumen's farm has a great little barn full of animals and plenty of fun play equipment. It is one of our new favorite things to go do. Yes, Ada has a hard time saying goodbye, but she has a great time visiting all the animals.

Ag Fest

Ada got to go to the Ag Fest with Daddy, Nana and PopPop last weekend. Animals and dancing... also at the top of her list. She could not stop talking about the cows and all the "baby" animals.

Crazy Neighbors

Yes, we would be the crazy neighbors with the screaming child. Thankfully they are screams of joy, but I am still waiting for our noise complaint.

Running!

Ada has been running for a while now, but she just recently discovered how much she loves it! She will insist that everyone joins her as she is screaming in enjoyment. We went to the Gilbert House the other day and went outside to enjoy their play equipment. We had been out there for close to an hour, and I was just about to convince her it was time to go, when the preschoolers came out to play. As soon as she spotted the first two girls running by, she was glued! Thankfully, they were more than willing to play with her and the game of "Chase" began. It was so cute, they didn't know her name at first so they would yell "Hey Baby! Come get us!" and Ada would chase after them yelling "Running!" Soon, other kids joined in and Ada was having a blast. She loves playing with big kids almost as much as she loves running. Perfect combination :)
