Hope

While we were at the Clearwater Aquarium, we watched the trainers working with Hope (the dolphin calf). This little calf lost her mom and brother last Christmas, and now she is being taken well care of by the volunteers here. After asking all our questions, we went below to get a different view of her. At first, it looked like she was trying to play hide and seek with us, and then she came right up to our window to play. She kept swimming up and down, never taking her eyes off us. It was so cool to be that close! It was really hard to leave, but one of us had to say goodbye. It didn't look like she was tiring of the game, so we gave her a "see ya soon" and off to check out the other animals.

Clearwater Aquarium

After getting sunburns on the beach, we decided to spend the next day indoors at the aquarium. We had so much fun playing around with "Hope" the dolphin calf, feeding the stingrays and watching Winter and Panama do their little dolphin tricks. We were able to entertain ourselves there until nap time!

Clearwater Beach

After a week in Disney World, the 3 of us drove over to Clearwater Beach for Memorial weekend. It was a beautiful drive and even better once we actually got there. Matt's grandma used to live there, so his family had visited there, but this was me and Ada's first time to a Florida beach. The sand was amazing and the water was warm. Everyone was so friendly down there. We had a great time just winding down from our busy week of walking everywhere. It was so great to just sit in the sand and dig. After 10 days away from home, we were ready to get back, but it was a hard trip to say goodbye to. We feel so blessed to have family that we enjoy being around, and can do something like this. We will enjoy looking back at photos and sharing the stories.

Cousins!

Oh my goodness! These cousins were way too cute! We were constantly pulling out our cameras to capture the next precious thing they were doing. Paisley was such a good big cousin to Ada. Can't wait to get them together again!

Family Time

Most importantly, this trip was a time we all got to spend together as a family. It was a week Matt and I got to watch our girl explore so many new things. It was a week Ada got to spend with way to much love and attention from her Nana and Pop Pop. And it was a week that we all got to see the 3 little cousins enjoy each other to the fullest! Great week!
