She finished off her birthday week with another BBQ with friends. This time we were hoping to not get rained on! It turned out to be a beautiful day and Ada thoroughly wore hersel out!

My mom's group has cleverly decided to have one birthday party a month for the babies, so here is Ada's "August Babies" party with Noah, Jacob and Mason.
The Big Day!
So for Ada's birthday day we started off with smoothies and pancakes. Then, we were off to Silver Falls for a mini hike and picnic. Of course, Matt and I went, along with her Grandma, Auntie Al, Auntie Michelle and her buddy Kellen. After that we went to have some never-ending pasta, and finished the night with cupcakes and more family!

Whoa! What an exciting week! Ada went and turned 1 on Wednesday the 18th! I went ahead and wrote all the mushy stuff to her in her Birthday card, so I will simply tell you that I am OBSESSED with my smart, funny, clever, caring, gentle-hearted, stubborn, tough, cooky, imaginitive, beautiful girl! Her birthday week started out with an outside BBQ bash with her family on a WAY too hot day, but Matt set up a "misting staion", we pulled out the icecream and everyone made it out alive! It was so great to see her as the social butterfly of the day. Happy Birthday Ada!
