Cousin Kate's Wedding

So, we sat towards the back of the church for the ceremony and had to leave early from the reception, but we did manage to get ONE picture to prove that we were there! Congratulations Kate and Justin! (we didn't match on purpose... don't know how we left the house so matchy matchy)

Okay, so we only have a few more things to hang up and put away and we will be all moved in! We are loving the extra space and our backyard! Can't wait to get the garden going! Once we get everything situated, we will post pictures of our place. Thank you everyone for all of the help, and the friendly visits. It is so nice to be close to family and friends!

Ada had to say goodbye to the tree her daddy painted for her. He made her a similar painting for her new room (pictures to come), so she won't have to wake up to a bare wall. Thank you Daddy!

Willows is in Our Hearts

So, we were planning to drive down to Southern California to visit Jason, Traci, Paisley and Kaiser. We planned this trip out for months trying to figure out the best way to get there without Ada being miserable in the car the whole time. The plan was to leave from Salem in the evening, drive through the night while Ada slept, and hopefully only have a few hours in the morning to keep her entertained. Yeah... nice try! She slept for the first couple of hours, cried for the next 5 hours, we got a hotel room and drove back home the next day. It was sad realizing that we wouldn't get to see our family, especially because it was Paisley's 3rd birthday, but we knew there wa no way we could keep going and then do it all over again in a few days. With all that said, these are pictures from our roadtrip to Willows, CA, and our stay at the Holiday Inn Express! Ada's probably wondering why we drove all that way for a continental breakfast... Enjoy! It's good to be home!

Zoo Day!

Well, we are trying to make the most of our time left up in Beaverton, and we took advantage of $2 Tuesday at the Zoo! I'm not sure if Ada enjoyed watching the animals or the kids more. Either way she had a great time, and can't wait to go back!

Happy 1st Easter Ada

Ada had a great Easter Sunday! She went to church and got to play/cry with some buddies. After church she went to her Nana and Pop Pop's house where we basically sat and took pictures of her all morning! Thank you guys for a great photo session! Oh, and your company too ;). Next we went over to her Grandma and Grandpa's house for an Easter feast. She slept for the first part of it, but then she was ready to play with all the goodies from her Easter basket. After plenty of play time with everyone, she went home, played some more, and went to bed without a peep (neither the sound nor the candy). Thank you everyone for such a great day! She is very blessed!
