So three months after getting home from our Disney World trip, Ada decides that, Yes, she would love to wear her beautiful princess dress! This girl, who once would run away from costumes in terror, now chooses one daily to spend a little time in. Funny girl
We had a party for Ada the weekend after her birthday, so all her buddies could come and celebrate with her. It was a beautiful 90 degree day and her Auntie and Uncle were generous enough to let us use their backyard for the party. It was a wet 'n' wild zoo party! All the kids had a great time, and us parents had a great time watching it! Maybe some day we will be able to throw just one birthday party, but for now, it is fun to celebrate her as much as we can! We love our big 2-year-old!
Later in the evening, Ada got to have her family all come over to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a birthday party. Her Auntie Al did such a great job decorating the back yard! Three of her cousins were in town from Washington, and she had a great time playing with them and catching up with all of her family :) She has a tough time with all of the attention and shut down a little bit when we sang Happy Birthday, but all in all, it was a perfect way to end her birthday!
We spent the morning of Ada's birthday picking strawberries for her party. I love it that something like this can make her so happy. She had a great time find the red strawberries with no green on them :) What a big helper
So, we wanted to take advantage, one last time, of Ada being free to get into the zoo. We went 2 days before her 2nd birthday :) It gets more and more fun every time we take her to the zoo! Matt and I have always enjoyed zoo trips, so now, taking Ada, it's even better!
