"Snow Day"

We tried to go on a snowy walk, but by the time we got our jackets on, it was basically melted away. Ada still enjoyed our walk and spotted little patches of "noes" on the ground. Daddy was even able to make a mini snowman!

Pool Time

Here are Nana and Ada testing out the pool water. We eventually did some swimming, but it was still a little chilly!

Moments with Grandma Ida

It was so great to see Ada finally meet her Great Grandma Ida! She was a little overwhelmed at first, with so many people wanting to come up and meet her, but that faded fast. Grandma was so great with her! She was very patient with Ada, giving her her space. It didn't take long before Ada was begging to sit in Ida's lap. She wanted to see all of Grandma's fancy jewelry and polished nails. So cute! The first day, we didn't stay at her place long, but we went back the next day for another visit. It was like they were old friends! Ada immediately went to show Ida her "Baby Midge", and Ida reached down to pick her up. Before long, Ada was on the ground showing all the ladies her somersaults! It was so great to see Grandma Ida, but hard to say goodbye. Ada made a special friend and still asks where her "Iyaya" is.

Arizona Plane Ride

Ada and I flew with her Nana to Arizona this last week, and despite what the pictures show, she did amazing on the plane! She made some friends at the airport before we left Portland. They got her good and tuckered out, so she drifted quietly to sleep as the plane was taking off. She woke up after a while, said her hellos to everyone, and colored the rest of the flight. Repeat for the flight home! I was a proud mama!
